Solar panel prices are against the price uptrend.

US Solar PV players are still pushing solar panel price down aggressively this month. Moreover, European solar players maintain solar panel prices at the price of Euro 1.3, and this solar price are down against US dollars. Worldwide solar players are expecting that solar PV demand will be strong in2Q10, under the current Germany Feed-In-Tariff and new Japan solar PV incentives. Some Asian solar PV players are pushing solar cell and solar wafer prices up.

Average poly-silicon price was the same price of US$ 56 per Kg as last week. Average156mm sq poly wafer price went up 2.4% to the price of US $3.38. Average solar cell price dropped 2.4% to the price of US $1.28 per watt. Average solar module price was down 1.64% to the price of US $1.8 per watt.
